The CCGG is recognized nationally for its critically acclaimed exhibitions, lectures, conferences, classes, workshops, tours, and specialized library, archive, and research centre. It is home to an extensive and ever expanding collection of historical and contemporary Canadian ceramic, glass and enamel art which conserves and promotes a rich and active component of our Canadian cultural heritage.

A highly desired destination for local citizens and tourists annually, the Gallery's impressive exterior and inviting interior welcomes the young and old to its constantly changing exhibitions of high quality local, national and international artists; its daily demonstrations of artists at work; and its bustling education gallery offering a vast array of classes and workshops, and tours.

The Gallery's Gift Shop is regarded as one of the area's most desirable shopping destinations, and provides an opportunity for Canadian artists to display and market their art, while offering the public an opportunity to acquire the finest works by established artists.

The Gallery is governed by an enthusiastic, dedicated and knowledgeable group of volunteers and managed by a full complement of excellent staff. The broad base of local support from individuals, corporations and governments makes the Gallery a model for community ownership and stable funding.
